In a world of commodities, choose craft.

At The Farm at Kings River, we are raising grass fed beef on pasture through climate-resilient agriculture and practicing regenerative grazing to bring life back to the land and rivers. We are striving to raise food for our community that both regenerates the environment and nourishes our bodies, and in that way, we are beyond simply grass fed beef.

We hope that when you taste the beef from The Farm, you can taste and appreciate the seasons devoted to tending our animals and building our soil for future generations. We would offer that things of real worth take time, and food should be no different – nourishing food reflecting a certain place is true art and a thing of beauty.

Our animals are raised on pasture their entire life, providing beef that is full of flavor and unique to the terroir of the Ozarks grasslands. Our grass fed beef is aged for an exceptionally tender eating experience and is full of heart-healthy Omega 3 fatty acids, high in quality protein, phytonutrients, and antioxidants from biodiverse pastures and healthy soils.

Meat with values deeply rooted in building soil & community.

We don’t take your choice to eat meat lightly. Our cattle have been on pasture their entire lives and are the key to bringing life back to our soils and grasslands in the Ozarks. We believe meat raised in this way – with the highest standard of welfare and minimal stress, allowing animals to fully move, act and behave like cattle as nature intends, and working in partnership with grasslands to sequester carbon – is the most sustainable eating decision you can make.

Terroir is a concept used in fine winemaking that describes the natural elements that give wine grapes their distinctive flavor and, in the literal sense of the word, make them of a certain place. Our beef is raised with the same care, celebration of uniqueness, and connection to this land.
